2. General Information on Data Processing

DJReport is designed as locally operating software. No user data is stored on servers operated by the provider. Personal data is processed exclusively on the user's own device.

3. Data Processing Within the App

3.1 Data Processed

DJReport processes only the export files provided by the user from DJ software, in particular Rekordbox and Serato DJ. These files may contain the following data:

• Artist names
• Track titles
• Remix designations
• Play times
• Event data
• Venue information (if applicable)
• DJ / promoter name (if applicable)

All data is processed exclusively on the user's local device.

3.2 Purpose of Processing

Processing is carried out solely for:

• Creating music playlists
• Preparing reports for collecting societies (e.g. GEMA)
• Documentation of DJ sets

3.3 No Transmission to the Provider

No data is automatically transmitted to the provider. The provider has no access to music libraries, playlists, export files, or generated reports.

4. App Store & Payment Processing

The app is purchased through the Apple App Store. Payment processing (one-time purchase or subscription) is handled exclusively by Apple. The provider does not receive any payment data such as credit card numbers, bank details, or Apple ID credentials.

Apple's privacy policy applies to all data processing carried out by Apple.

5. Website

5.1 Contact

When you contact us by email, the data you submit will be stored and processed solely for the purpose of handling your enquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract / pre-contractual measures)

5.2 Server Log Files (Hosting)

When you visit the website, the following data is processed automatically:

• IP address
• Date and time
• Browser type
• Operating system
• Referrer URL

This data is used solely for technical security and stability of the website.

6. Analytics and Tracking Tools

DJReport itself does not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising tools unless explicitly stated otherwise. Should analytics tools (e.g. crash reporting) be integrated in the future, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly.

7. Retention Period

As no server-side storage takes place, the user determines the retention period for data processed within the app. Data transmitted by email will be deleted once it is no longer required to handle the relevant enquiry.

8. Rights of Data Subjects

Under the GDPR, users have the following rights:

• Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

As DJReport does not store personal data on servers, these rights primarily relate to any contact data that may have been stored.

9. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in Germany or in your country of residence.

10. Data Security

DJReport stores and processes data exclusively on the user's local device. The user is solely responsible for data backups, device security, and protection against unauthorised access.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

The provider reserves the right to update this privacy policy where required by legal or technical changes.
